Steve Sabatier has created the Chenavari Group AIFM in Luxembourg and relocated to Luxembourg in 2017 after having spent 7 years with Chenavari Group in London as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Chenavari, Steve has spent 13 years in Derivatives, and Alternative Asset Management. Steve was a senior legal counsel with AXA IM in London, dedicated to the Hedge Funds and Funds of Hedge Funds business and before that, Steve worked for Société Générale in Paris. Successively as financial lawyer supporting the derivatives trading desks and then the Alternative Management Platform of the Société General’s subsidiary Lyxor Asset Management, ultimately as Deputy Head of the Debt Instruments Legal Department covering the Société General’s structured credit business line.
