Steven has over 30 years of private markets experience gained cross; venture capital and private equity firms, private equity and venture capital backed companies (as CFO/COO), PE M&A exposure in investment banking and corporate development for FTSE 250 companies.
He joined Frog as Senior Partner in charge of Portfolio Value Creation in 2015 and led the creation of the Operating Partner Programme, also acting as the operating partner for finance and leading on Responsible Investment.
As well as overseeing the whole portfolio, Steven takes specific board seats; having represented Frog on the board of portfolio exits such as Mediatonic, EDITED and Azimo. He currently sits on the boards of Winningtemp, a Swedish employee engagement software company; Genasys, a London based Insurtech; and Oxford Medical Simulations, a UK VR training platform for healthcare.
Prior to joining Frog, Steven spent eight years as an operational CFO/COO, latterly at Syscap, a PE backed tech enabled provider of alternative funding to SMEs, successfully exited in 2014. In addition to his operational experience, Steven spent four years in UK mid-market PE as a Portfolio Director at Livingbridge.
Steven is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (PWC) and holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University, and a post-graduate qualification in Organizational Psychology from Birkbeck.
